About Moots

American titanium with four decades of ride miles.

Moots started in Steamboat Springs, Colorado in 1981. They've been hand-welding titanium since the material was still exotic, and every frame still leaves their Steamboat shop. A Moots isn't a fashion statement — it's a lifetime of miles in one frame.

The Routt is their gravel platform, the Vamoots is their road frame, and the Mountaineer covers hardtail mountain. Every Moots is built from American titanium, tig-welded by a small team, and finished with the quiet attention to detail you can feel the first time you pick it up.

Titanium doesn't fatigue like aluminum, rust like steel, or fail like cheap carbon. A Moots is a frame you ride for decades. We can spec you a full build or source just the frame.
