Fit, sizing, and how it's made

How Ocean and San sizing runs

Ocean and San is cut for everyday wear, not Euro-cycling tight. The All Day Shirt, Long Sleeve, Ultralight, and DeltaPeak pieces run true to U.S. streetwear sizing. Most riders take their normal t-shirt size.

The Solution Two Cargo Bibs run more performance-fit but still less aggressive than a PNS or ASSOS race bib. Take your usual cycling-bib size, or size up if you're between and ride longer endurance days.

The full range goes XXS to XXL on most pieces. Women's-specific cuts available on the All Day Shirt, Long Sleeve, Drift Shorts, and Solution Two Bibs.

Cool wash inside out, no fabric softener, line dry. Ocean and San runs a crash replacement program. Bring or ship a damaged piece and the brand offers replacement at a discount. Returns within 30 days, unworn with tags.

About Ocean and San

Slow by Nature.

Ocean and San was founded in Los Angeles in March 2021 by Alec Wilimovsky, Andy Lau, and Jake Durrant. All three are ex-professional racers. The brand name comes from the intersection of Ocean Ave and San Vicente Blvd, a classic launching point for cycling routes north up PCH and into the Santa Monica Mountains. It is half a mile from the front door of the shop.

The founders started Ocean and San because they noticed a gap. After years of racing, the excitement of speed-and-hype kit had faded, and there was nothing on the market that fit how they actually rode the rest of the time. Coffee shop spins. Dusty gravel. Weekend bikepacking. They wanted cycling clothes that didn't look like cycling clothes.

The All Day Shirt is the answer. Three rear pockets, casual cut, premium fabric, cut and sewn in LA. From there the line built out into bibs (Italian fabric, triple-density chamois), DeltaPeak performance pieces (Japanese fabric, LA assembly), and the ThermaGrid winter trilogy (Fair Trade certified Portugal, Bluesign approved, PFAS-free).

The philosophy that anchors all of it: gear for being, not for proving. Sundays is Ocean and San's local shop. Come try the kit on, ride out of Santa Monica in it.

We're on Main Street between Hollister and Ocean Park, two blocks from the beach and a short pedal from the Marvin Braude Trail. Roll in after the Strand, after a Mandeville climb, or just on a slow walk down Main.
