Time was founded in Voiron, France, in 1987 by Roland Cattin. The brand pioneered Resin Transfer Molding (RTM), a carbon process where resin is injected into a dry fiber layup under pressure, producing frames with lower void content and a distinctive ride quality. No other major builder uses RTM at this scale. The process is slow, expensive, and the reason Time frames ride the way they do.
The lineup centers on four framesets. Alpe d'Huez is the classic rim-brake race platform named for the climb that made it. ADHX 45 adapts the same carbon DNA for disc brakes and 45mm tire clearance. Scylon Gen 2 is the aero race bike, with Braided Carbon Structure tuning stiffness and compliance by zone. Fluidity returns as Time's endurance best-seller, redeveloped for modern performance riders. Every frame is still made in Europe.
